Jedi Tricks

I've been thinking about two statements from the original Star Wars trilogy that used to not make sense to me.  One does now.  The thing about the original movies is that everything felt so close.  The travel from Tattooine to Alderaan takes only a few hours.  You forget that this is taking place over trillions of miles.  It was only recently that I realized what Darth Vader meant when he said that the Force was stronger than any space station that could exist.  He then force chokes someone.  In the next movie he force chokes someone he happens to be talking to on a well for better terms let's call it a space phone.  He then force chokes that person.  It was then that I realized, he could do that over trillions of miles.  And it was one of those sit back and say "whoa" moments.

The second statement is when the jedis say that if you strike them down they will become more powerful than anyone could ever imagine.  Maybe I don't understand all the rules of being a force ghost but it didn't seem like they had an overly large area of influence except amongst their own people.  Maybe I'm missing something.

Mass Effect 3 Ending(spoilers)

Everyone hates the original Mass Effect 3 ending and I'm not sure that if the new added content made it any better.  I don't really care about the ending, because the entirety of the game leading up to that was phenomenal.   Still, I kind of wish the game had ended this way:

Because this is beautiful.  I'll write more about my feelings on MS3 when I have something to say.

Red Dead Redemption Troubles

I own and yet have never beaten the game Red Dead Redemption.  Mostly because my game has a problem in that John Marsden will pull out his guns whether I want him to or not.  I thought at first it was the controller but switching between the two I own did nothing to solve it.  This would cause problems because John Marsden would say, finish playing poker having lost all his money and then pull out his guns.  Everyone would freak out and start running and I would attract negative lawful attention.  A posse would be rounded up and I would be jailed or shot at.  I would try and put the guns away and be like "No, guys, it's cool, it's cool!" and then John would just pull them right back out.  Recently, I've decided to pick the game back up.  I'm going to roleplay that John Marsden just has this hidden rage problem that causes him to threaten people at random.  I'll see how far I get in the game and report back.
